After Ichigo pushes him out of Karakura Town and into the mountainous area, Aizen theorizes that Ichigo has gone beyond needing Reiatsu and converted everything into physical strength.įor this reason, back when the chapter was first released, the common belief was that a shockwave from Ichigo’s sword swing caused the vaporization of the crag. When Ichigo first comes back from the Dangai, Aizen remarks that he can’t feel any Reiatsu coming from him at all. There’s some debate as to what caused this feat.
